Leadership Team

Pastor Mark Creech, Senior Pastor
As the senior pastor, Mark has a passion for teaching the truths of Scripture. He desires to see people come to have a meaningful relationship with Jesus that makes an impact in their life and the lives of those around them. He has served at Kathleen Baptist Church for over 10 years. He and his wife, Linda K., have three sons. Mark has ministered as an International Mission Board missionary in Brazil and is a native of central Florida.
Mark is a Florida Gators fan and enjoys golf and fishing.
Pastor Michael Whittle, Discipleship Pastor
The role of Discipleship Pastor is key at Kathleen Baptist, and Pastor Michael leads all of our educational ministries and coordinates all of the teachers and staff.  Michael and his wife Amber, along with their children Claudia, Mason, and Tucker, have recently returned from the mission field in South Asia, and now he is turning his attention to leading and enhancing the knowledge and obedience of every member of Kathleen Baptist Church.
Michael is a Texas Longhorns fan and enjoys fishing and golf and family time with his children.
Pastor Matt Grieves, Student Pastor
Matt has been working in Student Ministry for a long time and is still amazed and humble that God would allow him to continue serving in this area! Matt thoroughly enjoys hanging out with teenagers, encouraging them to live Christ-centered lives, and planning exciting retreats, mission opportunities, and various other activities. Matt’s wife, Kim, is also very involved in the student ministry. She ministers to the girls, helps lead worship, and offers assistance wherever needed. They have 3 boys, Caleb, Timmy, and the newest addition Micah. When Matt is not with the students, he enjoys running and going on adventures to new places with his family.
Pastor Grant West, Worship Pastor
Worship plays a vital role in the life of a Believer. Grant likes to tell people that “worship is a lifestyle, not a music style”. His goal, not only as a Worship Pastor, but as a follower of Jesus Christ, is to lead in worship on stage and in life. It is his hope and prayer that when someone attends KBC that they experience a time of worship; not just a “good feeling”, but a life-changing, life-altering worship experience. Grant and his wife Allyson have three children; Caleb, Andrew and Hannah Kayce. Before coming to KBC, Grant has served as Worship Pastor in churches across the south, including AR, SC, and MS.
Grant is a LSU fan and enjoys golf and fishing.
